Connect to a Windows VPS with Remote Desktop
Check that Windows is available for your plan
The operating-system selector in checkout lists the Windows images eligible for the chosen base plan. Adding extra resources does not automatically change that list. Review the current operating-system comparison when choosing a service.
Open your Windows desktop
- Check the VPS public IP and Windows access details in your service information.
- Open a Remote Desktop client on your computer.
- Enter the VPS public IP and the Remote Desktop port configured for the guest.
- Sign in with the Administrator account, or the Windows administrator account provided for your selected image, and that VPS’s password.
Your Fasting Host website password and Windows guest password are separate credentials. Give the guest time to finish its initial startup before reconnecting repeatedly.
Troubleshoot access
Check power state, network address and any guest firewall or Remote Desktop settings you changed. An available service console can help inspect startup or network issues. If you need help, send the service reference and exact connection error through support; do not include your password in the ticket.
