Use WordPress, email and restore tools in cPanel
Build and maintain your website
Hosting plans include WordPress Toolkit, PHP Version Selector, LiteSpeed Web Server and LSCache. WordPress and WooCommerce are supported when the application and plugins fit the account resources and supported software environment.
Choose a PHP version compatible with your application, then test important pages and functions after a change. Keep WordPress, themes and plugins updated. Configure cache behavior around your application; a shopping cart or signed-in page should not serve another visitor’s private content from cache.
Email and databases
Use cPanel’s Email Accounts tools to create mailboxes within your plan allowance. Open the mailbox’s connection information for the correct server names, ports and encryption settings. Starter includes five mailboxes; the other hosting plans allow unlimited accounts within overall account resources. Database counts are one for Starter, three for Plus, and unlimited for Business and Commerce.
Restore access
JetBackup restore tools require an available restore point for the selected account and data. Check the dates and scope of any restore point before restoring. A restore can replace current files or database contents. Keep independent copies of important data; the presence of a restore interface does not itself prove a backup exists.
